Bougie Nurse Creations is my small shop!

Hi, there! My name is Teri. I have always loved to create things.  When my first grandchild was on her way, I busied myself with making baby quilts and blankets.  I loved buying monogrammed and personalized items for her. I found myself wanting to be able to make them myself.  That's when I bought my first embroidery machine. 

I am a Palliative care nurse and spend my days helping patients and their families deal with significant illness, end of life decisions, and loss. During the pandemic this became a heavy burden.  Embroidery became a way to let things go after a long day.   At first, I was making personalized shirts for my granddaughter and my nieces. As time went on, I started doing a lot of personalized baby outfits and applique.  Soon after that I got interested in what could be made with embroidered vinyl and started making customized school logo keychains, and funny doggie poo bags.   I love to make things that will make people smile or laugh.
